Winooski

Winooski is located at the mouth of the Winooski river. An old wool processing Milltown that has recently gone through a major revitalization of its downtown. Winooski offers nature trails in its Gilbrook Natural Area located near St. Michael's College as well as in the downtown area at Casavant Park which is accessed via the downtown Riverwalk. You will find shops, restaurants and plenty of recreational uses. Winooski is nicknamed the "Onion City" after the wild onions that use to grown around the area.
