Bolton
The character of the town is predominantly rural, rocky and mountainous. The town has more than twenty mountains at over 2,000 feet, and nearly as many more just under that. It’s ideal for skiing and for hiking on the Long Trail from Camel’s Hump to Mount Mansfield. The only road access is through the neighboring towns of Richmond and Duxbury. The principal transportation artery in the town is US Route 2, which follows the north side of the Winooski. I-89 passes through the town parallel to Route 2 but does not have an interchange there.Town of Bolton Office
