Williston

Williston is located in the center of Chittenden County and is dotted with quaint stores and several large national chains. Right off Interstate 89, it is a popular destination for restaurants and shopping.  The town is bounded on the north by the Winooski River which separates it from Essex and Jericho. To the west Muddy Brook is the boundary with South Burlington. Shelburne, St. George, and Hinesburg are located to the south and Richmond lies east. Lake Iroquois lies partially in the southern corner of Williston and is shared with several neighboring towns. The highest hill in town is Brownell Mountain, at 840 feet, and is Williston's most distinct peak.
