Jericho VT

Jericho is famous throughout the world as the birthplace and lifelong home of Wilson “Snowflake” Bentley (1865–1931), an American farmer who photographed over five thousand snow crystals. Bentley's fine photographic works are presented at The Old Red Mill & Museum in the center of town. The historic Old Red Mill, a local architectural marvel, stands impressively in Jericho Corners village area on Route 15, an area that extends from The Browns River crossing near Joe's Snack Bar eastward to the US Post Office and the Jericho Elementary School. Jericho Center, on Browns Trace Road, is home to several historic buildings, churches, and Jericho Center Country Store, Vermont's oldest continuously running general store.
